Meaningless gibberish. That is how ALL the universal/multivehicle ATFs are marketed. It is nothing to worry about.

The only problem with a mineral ATF is that it will not meet the cold weather requirements of some of those ATFs, which would be important in cooler climates.
It also might not meet the lifetime fill requirments of some specs which is meaningless because you are practicing a sensible OCI anyway.

I just called 1-800-TEAMVAL so that I could speak to a Technitian and ask some questions. I was told that the MAXLIFE Dex/Merc ATF "DOES EXCEED" the requirements of all of the MFG spec ATF's that are listed on the back label. I also asked the tech if their Mercon V ATF (which mentions specific MFG's on the back label), is OK to use as a replacment for those MFG ATF's. I was told that the Mercon V is only to be used as a top off fluid in other Mfg's transmissions but, is fully compatable for Ford transmissions(of course!). The Tech also told me that the MaxLife Dex/Merc ATF is a syn blend.
