Why was the 06 junk?

I can't put my finger on it, but for some reason I don't believe you! HaHa

I'm sure it's going to have a few hogs in the bed this summer. Getting bad just outside of town here. I need some new optics for my AR first. The spray on liner washes off real easy!

I've never seen a step side Dodge. Is that custom?

Muzzleflash, where in Ohio are you seeing hogs? I have family with land around Stuebenville, and I've been waiting for hogs to show up.

Whip, I believe that is a dually, just borrowed picture from net, not my photo.

I had a 84 gmc that was in one of those "stucks" almost that bad, not by choice, that truck never was the same .

Thats north of wheeling and up towards Pittsburgh isn't it? Down here around Jackson, Oak Hill and the surrounding area they are getting as bad as coyotes.

When I first looked at that, it didn't look like the bed and the cab lined up.

Stuebenville is a bit north of Wheeling where Rt 7 and RT 22 cross. Lots of rural land between you and Stuebenville, so they might be there soon.

We will see how these tires do this winter before I change them to some Cooper A/T's or something.

I'll post some pics when it's not raining and get some good pics.

Beautiful Truck. I'd like to buy a new CC 4x4 Ram myself.

If you have the Wrangler SRA's you will be fine through the winter. I put a new set on my silverado before heading out west the day after christmas this past winter. I had no issues at all in my Z71 with SRA's and i drove in over a foot of snow in north western Montana a couple days.

The SRA's are much better in snow than many give them credit for. They aren't the best off road where there are sharp rocks/roots etc, but if you are like me and only drive on paved streets and like to play when the snow falls you won't have any issue with good treaded SRA's.

Enjoy that Hemi! I should have Kept my 2012 CC 4x4 express, But i got tired of the payment so i sold it and got the money i put down back and paid cash for the Silverado. I probably should have kept the Ram though. It would have been paid off by now.

Im saving up though. i plan to sell the Chevy and pay cash for a new Ram with that awesome ZF 8-speed

Thanks man. The 8 speed is amazing. I've only had it a few weeks but I can honestly say there is not one thing that I don't like about it.

I love my 8spd, has a mind of its own, its usually in the right gear.

I never touch the manual buttons its usually in the right gear on its own.

I dont have the Ram but a new WK2 Overland.

Has the Hemi, ZF 8HP70, QL, QD2.

I only have 600 miles on it. I dumped the FF at 90 miles since I
hammered it the first 20 miles to seat the rings. The oil had a lot of garbage in, with the metal flake pearle. looked like the oil in my new Ariens snow blower which I dumped after an hour of use.

I dumped it a second time yesterday at 600 miles. Oil was dark but not as much pearl in it. Will run this fill a couple thousand and then switch to synthetic.

Got 23 mpg on my 400 mile trip for mothersday and avg 21.5 mpg overall. not bad for 5400 lb tank!

i am pretty sure the owners manual did not prescribe to your break in method, but good luck anyway.

It actually does, pg 106 from owners manual for first 300 miles of break in
"While cruising, brief full-throttle acceleration within the
limits of local traffic laws contributes to a good break-in."

Basically jeep does not want one to baby the vehcihle at a steady RPM and note I did my low gear acceleration about a dozen times from 10 mph to about 70 with 3/4 throttle thru the gears and then lift of and coast down. Have broken in all the cars I have ordered new this way and the one I bought off the lot this way. All were/are very tight and use nil for oil.

Ooooh, baby, what a vehicle. I love those new Jeeps.

Much more conservative tune than the Rams but still an impressive engine/trans combo, eh?

BTW, neither of my Hemis use a drop and both were broke in HARD...

Yes it is nice, actually the wife wanted it, no phoney SUV's for her! very impressed with the transmission, the quadra lift and how they assemble these things, I pulled it all apart to rust proof. They hide the QL compressor in the passanger front behind bumper cover, infront of the fender liner.

I enjoy reading your posts about your fleet of trucks and cars and facts from your experience.

Havent bought a new car in 13 years and newest is 06 PTGT so the electronics is a tad bit more advanced LOL

To be truthfull all the cars made today are good, just a matter of picking what you want and maintain it.

I want an SRT Challanger next year, so saving my pennies.
