GW mag swivel socket set but I didn't like that it lacked a shorter swivel 9/16", so I supplemented w Ares (left upper)

Also a kit for removing a broken key from an ignition cylinder. Let's be honest: I have no idea how to use so we're hoping for YT-U

My wife got me a cordless 1/2" impact. Wanted one for years and so she surprised me. Good woman she is! Similar weight but smaller and much more power than my old cheapo one. Part of why I wanted one was for longer trrips, especially with the horse trailer. The ability to change a tire on the side of the highway quickly is worth a lot to me.

I have a Milwaukee drill, 1/4" impact and circular saw. Great tools but not enough to justify the price. My Cambodian Tire maximum drill and impact work just as good, have better battery life and much cheaper. Yes, the big whatever sized Milwaukee battery is a beast but bloody expensive.

It was this one, I think I saw it or something similar reco'd on reddit or maybe a locksport forum. Haven't used it yet and I'm the last person qualified to provide a review, anyway:

As I understand it a lot of these are almost expendables, ie they're fragile by nature so breakage in use may not be unexpected. I'm sure longevity increases with experience.

Got my $3.22 oil filter wrench.

And my favorite: the KTC relay pliers for the stupid Subaru rectangular relays. As I understand it this will reach in and disengage both lock clips and allow you to pull the relay all at once.

Trying to pull the fp relay under the dash of an '11 Forester recently was an I-need-three-hands affair so hopefully this reduces that in the future. Cheapest on amazon.jp

Koken Attack Driver arrived yesterday. Was just under $45 on back in December on Amazon. Sold by Amazon Japan. Took almost 2 months to arrive.

I just got the Proto driver today. It’s a really nicely made unit, and these proto cases are great too.

I borrowed a really small, think it was HF air hammer when I was having issues with my Cummins fan clutch.

Borrowed it again when I was having issues with a stuck nut in a very precarious situation.

Decided it was time to get my own.

Also waiting on a Mayhew hammer attachment. I have a bunch of 20d 4” nails to drive, amongst many others for a roofing project. Need to be the right diameter and length. So I figured I’d try this gun alongside my palm nailer. May help avoid these:

I’ll say this thing has been a great success with 20d 4” nails through rafter ties into rafter sisters and 100yo tight ring lumber. Puts the trusty framing hammer to shame.

I got mine many years ago from the Snap On truck. IDK if it's a SO or blue-point- or ???
Then the NAPA Salesman had one years ago, he didn't normally sell tools, he supplied the garages with oil and air filters, ATF, Oil, antifreeze, brakes, wipers.........(I could go on and on..................... You're welcome!)
But anyways, he had one one day, NAPA brand I think, he must have either had a return, close-out, customer never brought it, or ?????
Anyways, he gave it to me for $10.00. I don't use it a lot, but have a few times, It's been fine.

Got a $25 gift card for donating blood this week, and used it on Amazon for this little guy, a Tekton 3" stubby 3/8 ratchet. I find myself wishing I had a super short ratchet almost every time I work on my cars.

Is there an oil seal puller that works better than others? I’m looking at a lisle part. Mostly for cv/diff and pinion seals.

These impact driver kits are $79 in-store at HD. It'll show $99 on the website. Not clearance-- I think the tag was NLP (new lower price) which is HD's term for "sale."

Also online inventory may be wrong so if the web says your store doesn't have any, that may not mean anything.

My store had it locked up in the "gift center" at the front of the store. Previously the swing area. I don't know if they plan to keep it as a permanent "gift center" or if it'll return to swing. If it gets over-run by tubs and shelves for spring cleaning, we know the answer.

At $79 I couldn't resist getting the latest-gen impact driver. The charger, 2.0 batt and tool bag are just gravy.
