Both ideas stolen from this thread. Super tiny bit ratchet (makes my current Titan -- which I thought was small -- look huge) and Pica pencil.

Today's our wedding anniversary and the wife pulled these off my Amazon wish list (we keep gifts simple and inexpensive). So 7a this morning on our anniversary she gives me this and says, "Here's some new tools. You better take them to the shop. It's ok if you stay out there ALL day."

But hey, beggars can't be choosers. I'm lucky to have her! ;)

I hope you're smart enough to go put them down and go back in and take her to eat and a movie or something and tell her you want to spend the day with her, not in the shop.

UPS dropped off my new toy: Milwaukee 1/2" mid-torque with 2x 6.0aH batteries and charger. Can't wait to try it out on Monday!
I predict you'll love it. I do kinda appreciate having a boot on mine, though. It just feels like it adds a bit of protection in case you drop it or kick it across the floor. I've had great experiences with the import boots because Milwaukee wants WAY too much for ones with their logo molded in to the side.....

Facom 501A locking pliers, made in France. Bought them at Amazon Global Store for $58. Overall length is about 9 7/8", and jaws open up to at least 3 1/8" (80mm). Facom also used to manufacture these for Proto Tools, but they are now discontinued at Proto.

HF sent me the legendary 25% off "we miss you coupon." Idk why exactly. I miss them too, I was there last weekend and the weekend before and the weekend before that. Picked up Doyle End Nippers and completed my Icon ratchet collection with a stubby 3/8.

Unless my guzintas are wrong that's 25% on the nipper and 40% on the ratchet.
Probably wasnt the best use for the coupon but I have wanted the nippers for awhile. They extended the 40% Icon ratchet sale from last week.

Alright it’s time for another single socket post lol. This time it’s a 1-11/16 socket equivalent of a 43mm. The new (2022 and up) Toyota Tundras, Sequioas and brand new Land Cruisers have a monstrous axle nut that’s no longer 39mm it’s now 43mm. Well the standard equivalent is much easier to find than the metric so I just got the standard one. Not paying tool truck price for it. Went to my favorite auto parts store in the world and got it lol. I’ll order an impact adapter for it as they only had a chrome one and I would prefer that part to be impact. I searched for one of these in 1/2 inch drive but most brands stop at 39mm in 1/2. Guy at the counter was like are you working on a Ram 2500 I said no actually I’m a Toyota mechanic and need this for the new Tundra and Land Cruiser and Sequoia axle nuts. He was amazed and thanked me for the new information.

Also picked up my most used size 3/8 extension really handy size and I wanted one for my cart at work so I can keep the extra in the box. I’ve used my Craftsman one so much the end has wallowed out and it’s hard to find companies that make one this size.

I betcha they carry that 'cause of 2nd Gen Ram 1500s. Been a thing for, well.....since 1994 or thereabouts.

I got a Sunex from Amazon years ago for this reason. Looking at my order history, it was 2012! Looks to be a Warehouse Deal right now for $15:
