Advance Auto in my area had some old remaining TEQ tools left. Got these for like $2-$3 each. The set was $10. Made by Gearwrench or at least by the same supplier as them. Can’t go wrong with good tools man. A lot of people don’t like parts store tools but I do. They are good tools for decent prices.

Craftsman belt tool.

I was using the parts store rental tools whenever a breaker bar wouldn't fit, but decided to buy one to avoid multiple trips to the store. Lots of budget options were available but all of them had 15mm and larger sockets. My Honda takes 14mm so these were not ideal; I really don't need more sockets and didnt really want to pay for more than i need. The Craftsman unit does not include sockets and was only $16 (Amazon).

VeePeak OBD BT dongle, because I needed one and it was ~$8 from Warehouse Deals.

And -- oddly enough -- a cam buckle strap. I typically despise these and will only allow true ratchet straps in my shop or trucks, but the cam buckle is uniquely suited to supporting exhaust systems (eg Subaru) during hitch installations. A true ratchet strap releases 100% but these can be partially slacked with one hand. Walmart was cheapest at ~$4.30

I just got my Veepeak today, downloaded Car Scanner ELM OBD2 onto my wife's old smahtphone (I'm originally from New England), and within minutes I was viewing ATF temp in preparation for an upcoming fluid change. Way cheaper than an Autel or other scan tool.

I have a different Veepeak that I have used multiple times on a few BMWs, and it has worked well everytime

Nice. I have a quarter inch drive one that has sockets in the handle. It was always in my Grandma's tool drawer.
View attachment 208404NOS Duralast stubby ratchet. Really nicely made. Made in Taiwan. Got on eBay for $18 free shipping couldn’t beat that. Stubbier than the current version. Really excited to use this guy.
You surely have enough ratchets to never have to take the socket off of any of them by now.

There is very little in new tools that I need, but when my kids asked what I wanted for my birthday, I got this:

https://www.amazon.com/LockNFlate®-Locking-Air-Chuck-Closed/dp/B0BWNPL9YC/ref=sr_1_4?

It just works every time with no leaks, no frustration. Pricey but worth it.

Made in South Africa, which is a first for me.

They also make the LocknLube for grease fittings.
