Those things are escapes wrapped in a different skin huh?
That's true of the Bronco Sport.
The OP bought the truck-based Bronco. A completely different vehicle

technically its an option package.. not a trim level.Am I the only one amused that apparently Ford offers something called a "Sasquatch" trim level?
Seems to me those should be REALLY hard to find. Same with the "Loch Ness Monster-edition F-150.
At this point, I’m not sure the package even exists.technically its an option package.. not a trim level.
If they were available I wanted a v6 ecoboost with MT and sasquatch alot.. once upon a time.
Would have settled for the 2.3L.. but even those were unobtainium.
not sure that it shares a frame with anything, it does borrow the 2.7 and 2.3 from the f150 and ranger respectively,10r60 from the explorer and I'm sure others. has a 5 link rear suspension and coil over front ifs that is unique to this truck in the ford rangeThanks, what truck platform is the base?
yeah, its not a deal breaker for me, when you get sasquatch you lose the factory rock sliders and crash bars, if I wheel hard enough to need 35's I'll lift it and deal with it my waytechnically its an option package.. not a trim level.

I gave 42 for it, have a slip from jd power that says its worth 48.Congrats and best of luck with it.
I thought used cars had "asking prices".
How many miles are on it?

Nice scrub the wheels and apply a synthetic sealant (not wax) to keep the brake dust off and pitting down. I know alot on here poo-poh Royal Purple but I've used it in my Mazda rx-7 race car. I should do a uoa on it after I get it running. Nice vehicle. I'm bummed Ford didn't offer a manual transmission on the V-6 or Raptor version.and, since I'm introducing vehicles to this forum, before I bought the 7.3 I traded the mustang gt (the one I did the amsoil 5w30 ss voa on) in on a 6th gen bronco, chiefly because I have always been an off road guy, and even though the mustang was great fun, I feel this is also great fun and I'll actually get to enjoy it more (ive been an off road guy pretty much my entire life) will I buy another mustang if the stars align? in a heart beat, it was a lot of fun.
But without further ado, my 22 bronco badlands 2.7, non sasquatch. you do lose somethings that are important to me when you get the sasquatch package, and if 35's over 33's turns out to be that important, I'll lift and install myself
I also managed to buy this thing way under sticker, for some reason, making it one of the few good trade in's Ive made, and it has also become my favorite vehicle ever.
I am kinda torn on what to do for oil tho, I wanna do amsoil, curious about mobil 1 ep, or as some say run a euro car oil, ive been reading some gentleman in alaska that has 2 of thems uoa threads pretty heavyView attachment 265136View attachment 265137View attachment 265138View attachment 265139View attachment 265140
I was driving behind a Raptor yesterday and from the rear they look really stupid -- like vans with the dually package and huge molded fender flares.
They look really cool from the side, though. Fortunately it's no concern because I couldn't afford what they want for a Raptor Bronco
A pox on people who buy high performance cars that never see the track and/or buy true 4X4s that never even see a gravel driveway.A neighbor has a Bronco Raptor, I agree those flares are almost comical in their exaggeration. It looks like it can handle the Starbucks drive-thru okay, as that and the car detailer are it's primary destinations. I know the neighbor well, and they are friends. So I asked if they'd like to tag along on some 4wd trail exploring with us, and the look of horror at dulling the shine on their ultra-glossy tires was amusing. I'm sure it will be a good used vehicle buy when they eventually get tired of it.

In the early ‘90s I was judging a BMW CCA concours and I asked the owner of an E28 M5 how it performed on the track. The owner looked at me as if I had asked her if she allowed goats to breed in the rear seat.
no bad decisions detectedWheel and tire day on mine…
