New Synpower MST 5w-30 - VW 505.01 Approved

Dealership is now using Synpower MST 5w30 in my 2006 VW GLI 2.0T. It seems new to market... Here is some technical info.

Does your owners manual specify a VW 505.01 oil for the gasoline powered cars?

This oil is good for VW 502.00, 505.00, 505.01. I am not sure if my manual states 505.01 -- that may be a diesel spec, and my manual may be older than the 505.01 specification.

What can you all tell from the composition? Is it a better oil than the Syntec 5w-40 or the SLX Professional OE 5w30?

Looks pretty good actually. Meets a lot of demanding specs.
