Just got my first oil filter cutter and wanted to compare this supertech to the Purolator tl10241 which looks well built for $3.33. This supertech was $3.84 at Walmart. Build quality is serviceable but not my favorite. 99% at 30 microns according to the box.

I bought a half dozen of these to run in our old Mazda beater. I was running Motorcraft, but they have become priced like a premium filter.
Same here I’ll be doing 5k intervals and I think close to $9 for the motorcraft fl-910s is getting too pricey for me. I don’t plan on keeping a car 200k miles like many others

This ecore using the OG polyester endcaps. In this case 'could' well compensate for the poor stamping on seal areas seen consistently now on Champ Labs made filters. If so, that's a good thing. That said and fwiw, at least one polyester cap ecore c&p failed a flashlight test.

Thanks for c&p.
