Hey guys, I was doing my morning Walmart run and discovered this what looks to be new grease by super tech. It looks like decent grease but they are asking 20$ to a tube. Maybe that was a mistake as I can’t see that being worth it unless somehow they are repackaging redline grease or something.

Anyway just posting this to see if anyone else has seen this or what everyone’s opinion of this is. Thanks guys.

Classic! That's super expensive. I'm a mobile truck and trailer technician. I'm constantly buying 14 ounce tube's of grease. I usually buy the red valvoline lithium complex for around $6 or7 a tube. It doesn't "sweat" as badly as some of the others. With a red oily substance that leaks out during storage.

I've bought lots of the mystic red lithium complex for $4 in the past.

About the only grease I can't stand is the yellow ish colored Napa grease as it easily wipes off an surface and doesn't cling to it.

I will tell you I have never seen common grease for $20 a tube. How odd.

If it's a new product maybe they are setting the price to what they think it will be in the near future due to the current lubricant shortage issues? Just a wild guess.

You sure that’s not for the case. Has a unit price next to it. No way there is a $20 Supertech 14oz grease tube. Also it’s just a common high temp lithium complex. More than likely its rebadged $10 CRC Sta-plex.

Unit price is per oz. Still either a mistake or stupid expensive for what is supposed to be a "value brand". I think I'm still paying $8-9/tube for Schaeffer 219.
