Was down the oil aisle at my local Walmart, and noticed they got "new" bottles of RP "SN" rated, with the dexos1 moniker as well even....
Is it still as good as the "SL", particularly for "classic" cars?
Was really looking forward to going with the RP 5w30...but not too keen on the SN rating in this 88 Aries....though it's not flat-tappet, it's got roller cams so from what I understand the ZDDP additive isn't "as" necessary as it is/was for the flat-tappets....
They still got the 10w30 in "SL" though, likely the shipment just hasn't made it in yet...but the 5w30 sells out quicker too...
