I went to Outback a few times while I was dating my wife. Her kids liked it. After having twine in our fries a few times and finally a chunk of glass in my wife's salad, I never set foot in one again. Dopes.

The local mall here must be especially full of lemmings... or they've constructed an undersized food court... as there are always 15 minute lines for the "reasonable" restaurants/snack opportunities McDs, dunkin donuts, etc.
If one wants something quick, it's panda express, as there's no line. I bet that's how they get 70% of their business.

Not so bad, that's for sure or at BBQ place or the Vietnamese place...at least at Bellevue Square Mall.
This is what I'm waiting on opening soon in the new $550m North Quarter addition to the Canberra Centre. Not interested in the steak bit.

Not true. New place near work is selling astounding quality at freaky low prices. I told the owner it was just to get people in then up the prices but he said no way and he's been true to his word. Still think he has to many staff (14) but killing his opposition. Lets see how he's going in 6 months then we'll know if this new way has a long term future. So far so good. Tiramisu, Zuppa Inglese or Zabaglione for $3.50 anybody?

What cracks me up is that they have Taco Bell restaurants in Mexico.

Well a lady I work with her partner is opening a very upmarket Turkish (Little Istanbul) with no liquor licence. I told her it's a very dumb move after spending $2m on fitout. He's a Muslim she told me. Interesting to see if this works out

My wife & I must be two of the dumb sheeple. We both love the Outback Steakhouse. I couldn't care less if it's fake Aussie menu, I truly enjoy their steaks, and my wife & I both love the Queensland chicken & shrimp.
