I noticed a GM part number change for the PF66 filters I run in my 2.7 Turbo Silverado. Picture looks like they are made by Purolator/Mann-Hummel now instead of Champion. Whats the verdict on Purolators these days?
Napa Gold recently changed to PG.M&H products seem to have horrible QC these days but Purolator is probably the best as it sits now following Napa Gold.
That is not completely true, Napa already said they are using both PG and M&H just depends on the area. Unless they changed their mind within the past month from their last statement.Napa Gold recently changed to PG.
Sorry, I hadn't seen that. It was probably 6 months ago when I read they changed. Didn't realize it wasn't a complete changeover. That is not completely true, Napa already said they are using both PG and M&H just depends on the area. I upgraded to a UPF64R on my 17 Regal turbo from a NAPA/Wix filter. What about the ACDelco UPF66R upgrade? Maybe go with that?

Maybe the ones on the shelf are NOS from before the switchover? I really like the Champion Labs ones alsoI stopped by O'Reilly's today. The website showed they have the filter you pictured on the shelf.
The filters they have are the ones made by Champ Labs. Maybe O'Reilly's just needs to update their website.
