I noticed a GM part number change for the PF66 filters I run in my 2.7 Turbo Silverado. Picture looks like they are made by Purolator/Mann-Hummel now instead of Champion. Whats the verdict on Purolators these days?

M&H products seem to have horrible QC these days but Purolator is probably the best as it sits now following Napa Gold.

Some of their cheaper line of OEM branded filters seem to be good or bad. That does appear to be Purolator. Buy one & see what you think. I'd give it a try at least.

Well that sucks. I like the Champ made filters. I bought 4 PF66 filters from Rock Auto recently. They were made by Champ.
That said I've seen PF66 pics online that seem to be made by both Champ and Puro. I may have to swing by O'Reilly's and check one out.

I have a Napa Gold 100351 on the shelf that I probably won't use. The core is louvered and a good percentage of them are closed or pretty tight.

Another nice Champ made filter is the Fram XG12447.

Napa Gold recently changed to PG.
That is not completely true, Napa already said they are using both PG and M&H just depends on the area. Unless they changed their mind within the past month from their last statement.

Sorry, I hadn't seen that. It was probably 6 months ago when I read they changed. Didn't realize it wasn't a complete changeover.

I stopped by O'Reilly's today. The website showed they have the filter you pictured on the shelf.

The filters they have are the ones made by Champ Labs. Maybe O'Reilly's just needs to update their website.

Maybe the ones on the shelf are NOS from before the switchover? I really like the Champion Labs ones also
