She's been looking for a car to replace van lost in flood last month... she liked this blue 2001 PT cruiser limited... 113000 miles. checked it out sat after work... pretty nice, leather, gizmos all work, power sunroof, nice new tires... underneith looked good... nice guy selling it... $3500... test ride drove real well smooth quiet. she's going for it... not bad deal I think... under the hood clean but stuff really packed in there, doesn't look cool to work on... She is very happy... PT cruiser actually nicer than van she lost! will pick up tues...
vacation next sat, thousand islands for the first shake down cruise...

If it has broken torque struts and you decide to replace them with new ones, keep the broken ones. They make it easier to replace the timing belt.

Those eat Watts Link chassis parts in the rear.Among other things.Power steering hose leaks have burnt up a lot of PTs.

Dont run into parking blocks!you will break the bottom of the radiator off. Infact look at the upper radiater mounts. See if the radiater is shoved up. That lower crossmember is $178 from the dealer

She got 4300$ for her rusted out montana van that was headed to the junkyard... PT cruiser in much better shape and loaded... for 3500$... I think she made out good... pick it up tommorrow... Time will tell...
