They also had it in 5W-20. There was a third one IIRC, either 10W-30 or 10W-40.

Were these in 5qt jugs as well?

Yes, I'm at the store now and they have synthetic high mileage in:

Castrol Edge 5W20, 5W30 and 10W30 - jugs and quarts ($22.97/$7.98)

Valvoline SynPower 0W20, 5W20 and 10W30 - jugs and quarts (5W30 only in quarts) ($22.47/$7.98 for 20W, $7.47 for 30W) This is odd

Pennzoil Platinum 5W20, 5W30 and 10W30 - jugs only. ($24.97)

I've been back to the other stores and they don't stock this.

Can the extra seal conditioners of the high mileage oils cause any harm to seals that don't need it?

I have been using Synpower for a couple of vehicles and they don't leak, and don't need any of the extra conditioners. Should I use the Synpower with MT or go to some other synthetic such as Pennzoil Platinum?

I know they official answer of the oil companies is that it won't cause any problems, but I am looking for real world experience, not information from people who just want to sell their oil.

No they won't cause harm. I don't get your comment about the oil companies, they sell you oil whether it is the HM variety or not.

Imagine if they did cause harm, what a mess that would be for them.

Good point.

Checked in a few WMs in the area over the last week or so. No T5 15W40 SynBlend...
Stopped in one this morning and they had it @ $16.97 a gallon. For a few dollars more (I think there is a movie in there somewhere) you can have a Delo 400 LE 5W-40 ($18.97) so I am not sure the T5 is worth it.

My local Walmart has a lot of SynPower still.

I noticed Valvoline Full Synthetic with MaxLife in 0W-20 at Walmart the other day. I've only ever seen it in 5w30 & 10W-30 at Walmart previously.

My local Walmarts are now carrying Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage in 5W-20, 5w30 & 10W-30 in 5 quart jugs. They are also carrying Castrol Edge High Mileage in quart bottles.

I am glad to see more full syn high mileage oils in various viscosities.

Yeah, my Wal marts now both have MaxLife full syn. I got the last 8 quart bottles of MaxLife full syn 0w20. Maybe mix it with the Durablend or....

Our neighborhood Walmart has reintroduced Edge Extended Performance again. I also saw both Full Synthetic versions of Valvoline, FSwMT and SynPower.

walmart in Framingham has most weights in maxlife syn 0w20, 5w30, 5w20, 10w30. Also the supertech filers are back and the puro classics on clearance for 1.50

I just purchased two ST3614 filters - they were $2.84 each.
