This appears to be a new product:

The cost is a bit less than the BMW LL-01FE 0W-30.

I think this is the first aftermarket LL-01FE oil on the market today.

LL-01FE has been rare. With all the european car parts websites out there, I assumed people could just order the Mini or BMW LL-01FE at extra hassle and cost.
It does look like LL-12FE (Ravenol FES 0w30 for example) supplants LL-01FE in this new era of low sulfur U.S. gasoline. Motul has a "Specific LL-12FE" too.

Controversial but true: You can use M1 AP 5w30 for normal BMW change intervals, or use M1 AFE 0w30 and just change a little more often. Also Castrol Edge gold jugs or bottles for long drains in normal BMW intervals. Amsoil Signature Series 0w30 ditto.
