Amusingly, that picture has the opposite issue, Mobil used more light on the "before" photo, making it less dark, then compared to the "after" photo.

Lol, agreed. I remember other before and after pics from Mobil 1 threads but couldn't find them. But the lighting was different in those too.

I got ya! If I remember correctly Lake mentioned in one of his vids that the presence of ester is a strong indication of PAO. Not sure how that applies to AN’s.

I believe Mobil 1 Extended Performance depends on the grade...I know 0w20 does. I don't believe I've seen PAO in the data sheets on other grades of EP or in any grade of Truck and SUV. Others might know more about this.

Interesting. Advanced Clean could be a fairly unique formulation in their lineup, assuming it does in fact have ANs. Could be a pretty solid addition to their lineup.

It definitely looks a bit different than their other oils.

Actually, Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0w-20 is the only grade that still has PAO to some degree among the entire EP lineup; including EP HM.

It was reduced according to the SDS, but it's still there and there is up to as much as in 0w20 ESP X2.
