Not embellishment or waiting to be caught, because they didn’t know. They were being extra helpful and nice.Maybe “embellishment” would have been a better choice![]()

They 100% knew because I brought up the discrepancy between advertising and the spec sheets to Tech line. No one cared enough to research it or mention it, until the president was contacted. Call it what you will. Marketing was claiming better efficiency than actual efficiency. The same attention to detail is obvious in craftsmanship and QC currently which isNot embellishment or waiting to be caught, because they didn’t know. They were being extra helpful and nice.
I called too, and talked to them, and also email. I pointed out the discrepancy. They replied with 99%@46 microns, nothing else. That’s right, they didn’t research it. Nothing at all points to them not knowing until the pres saw the light. So they pointed out 99%@46 microns to both of us, and you say they were lying? About what? They were embellishing 46 microns to be better than 25?They 100% knew because I brought up the discrepancy between advertising and the spec sheets to Tech line. False advertising…..and they knew about it. That would make them accessory to embellishment.I called too, and talked to them, and also email. I pointed out the discrepancy. It’s not good to cast people as doing what they didn’t, and keep running with it. Southern people like that tend to be overly helpful if anything, trying to be nice to us. Not anymore, thanks to bitog.
As soon as someone working the Purolator customer service knew there was a dependency (as pointed out to them) between the website claim and the spec sheets they should have elevated it so it could be looked into and corrected. It shouldn't take the Pres of a company to be emailed to point it out so that he then directs it to be corrected.I called too, and talked to them, and also email. I pointed out the discrepancy. According to you analyzing how they should think and do. Have your fun. Pres acted on one thing explained to him, the other lines are still the same on the website. As soon as someone working the Purolator customer service knew there was a dependency (as pointed out to them) between the website claim and the spec sheets they should have elevated it so it could be looked into and corrected. Customer service should notice this especially when descriptiveness are pointed out and they see it with their own eyes. You think they should ignore such things and wait until the Pres hears about it from customers? From the info seen, all the PGI made Expended model filters are 99% @ 25u or better. The new Mobil 1 under the Highline Warren umbrella (not a PGI made filter) is 99% @ 20u per what Highline Warren told me on the phone.Premium Guard Extended has similar specs for Efficiency as Mobil1?
It's been posted that some new Mobil 1 filters are also marked as S. Korea. If Mobil1 filter is made in Vietnam, its Highline Warren, or there are other indicators?
Years ago, if I Remember it right, Champion Labs was making Mobil1 filters and they used to be highly rated at BITOG. Can we say that Highline Warren is equivalent to original quality of Mobil1 filter ?It's been posted that some new Mobil 1 filters are also marked as S. Korea.
From what's been seen so far, the new Mobil 1 filter looks on par with the extended life filters under PGI. Plus Highline Warren told me on the phone the new Mobil 1 was 99% @ 20u, which again is on par with the extended life filters under PGI. So I doubt the "original" Mobil filler was any better than that. I'd use a new Mobil 1 filter, just like I'd use a Carquest Premium or a MicroGard Select. They are all pretty equal, except the Mobil 1 seems to be a couple bucks more in cost. But it's easy to get at Walmart, but make sure it's not the old M+H made Mobil 1.Years ago, if I Remember it right, Champion Labs was making Mobil1 filters and they used to be highly rated at BITOG. A couple of things I am wondering. First, was what I was reading in some other thread about M1 filters getting ripped and found with tears in the media a true and common occurrence? And then, how can one tell if an M1 filter is made by M+H? I kind of get the impression that it was the M+H made filters that did tear.I'd use a new Mobil 1 filter, just like I'd use a Carquest Premium or a MicroGard Select. There have been a few instances of torn Mobil 1 filters, one linked below. It seems rare, but it can happen ... seems to still be a thing with M+H made filters. The new Mobil 1 will be made in S. Korea or Vietnam from what's been seen. The new Mobil 1 will have big holes in the center tube instead of louvers, like shown in post 1.A couple of things I am wondering. Does Fram Endurance with e-core have an issue with a by-pass leak? All the M110-A Honda/Nissan standard size at Walmart here are the Vietnam version. They look nice. So do the new version of the Fram Endurance with the e-core.

I am hoping someone does a flashlight test on new Fram EnduranceIf Fram just fixes that than I would stick with the Tough Guard and it's new Champ design.
