I'm new to the list and have a question about LE oils. I run a FS2500 filter and was reading that using LE oils might be a mistake because of the lower additive package. I've read here that the manufacturers have that figured out and just trust them. I haven't found non-LE oil since 6-8 months ago. Should I not worry about it? I was also going to change over to sythetics, so now might be a good time. My engine is an old design Mercedes Benz 352A(turbo) in a '91 1250L Unimog. Not the latest and greatest in technology. It only has about 400 hours on it. Any thoughts?
