They have been advertising this, but I can't seem to find much info about it, or how you know you have one. Anyone know anything ?

I know that's why I'm asking. If I see it again I'll try as it's moving video.
Most Kubota hydraulic filter have been in the 20 micron range. their diesel fuel filters may be 4 micron. I have seen a few 2 and 4 micron fuel filters but nothing in that range for hydraulic or engine oil.
I know, they advertise synthetic media too. First I have heard of that as well.
Not to mention 4 micron for any oil filter.

4 microns at what efficiency? That's what counts, not just a statement that it's a "4 micron" filter. Harley plays that game with their "5 micron" oil filter. Every oil filter will catch some amount of 4 micron particles. But is that at 2%, 25% or 50% or ??%.

Do you want a 4 micron engine oil filter since you put this in the oil filter forum?
Nothing new about 4 micron filters, the oldest application for a 2 micron filter I know of is old Detroit silver series and those are at least 30 years old.
Chances are if it exists, some one on here has found it.
If it's a Kubota it probably uses a 20x1.5 or 3/4-16 oil filter if it's an old Kubota.
If it's a 20x1.5mm you're in luck, I've found 5 to sub micron fuel filters in that size, it's a fuel filter so it's at least a beta 75. It could also be used for oil or hydraulic. It also won't have a bypass. Might want to make sure the engine has a bypass before you stick fuel or hydraulic filter on there with no bypass.
Smallest particle size 3/4-16 filter I've found is a 2 micron fuel filter but haven't been able to get one, seems like they're discontinued. The smallest 3/4-16 I can get is a 4 micron fuel filter, so fairly high beta ratios at that size. Don't remember what it's used on.

I probably found it. The wix wf10475. It's a 3/4-16 and it's a 4 micron fuel filter intended for Kubota skid steers.

Begs to differ.......why do they not make a sub 20 micron filter? I mean if they are so great, why not?

Baldwin oil filters have been 12 micron since forever.
Fuel filters can operate at 130C. Main thing is they just don't have a bypass.
Nothing prevents us from using a fuel filter as an oil filter if it screws on and seals up.
My 20x1.5mm nano particle fuel filter I'm using to further clean my reclaim oil is rated for 8gpm. But it's also twice as long as a 20 micron oil filter that can flow more like 12gpm.
The original fram titanium was filtering as efficiently as 5 to 10 microns depending on which beta ratios you want to look at.
The fram synthetic endurance is supposed to be about 12 microns as long as it doesn't leak.
I've been experimenting with using hydraulic filters that filter at least as good as fram titanium for a while now.
I've been running them for 3 or 4 years now and they're still fine.
I'll admit I believed the "if it filters to well it will clog up to quickly" myth too.
It appears the only time you might need a rock catcher that does like 30 microns at beta 2 is on a neglected engine.
