New Integra is…..

It's comical how many brands are "reviving" old name plates in an effort to get people to buy the new vehicles.

Jeep (Gladiator/Cherokee a few years ago)
Ford (Bronco, Maverick)
Dodge (whole product line basically)
Toyota (Supra)
Acura (Integra)

Given the ILX was running on the 9th gen Civic platform, this is an improvement. hunchbank styling is unfortunate. These probably won't sell very well. Seems like the Infiniti G20 problem all over again.

A type S with the CTR engine would be interesting.

What we want and what the general public will buy are two different things. IMO the new Integra and Supra is a compromise on both ends.

We will never get the OG cars because it simply wouldn’t work today. Cars have gotten bigger and heavier.

As much as people hate the new Supra, it is exactly what the MK4 Supra was. An Inline 6 two-door RWD sports car. It’s not like they took the Supra name and put it on an SUV like Mitsubishi did with the Eclipse. The Integra is still true to original form. A sporty premium compact. Although the sales will probably be similar to the ILX because nobody really wants a small acura.
