Hi Folks,
I've been hanging around for a while and figured I might as well take the time to sign up. It's a "wicked" cool forum (as we say in Mass..), and very informative. Plus, I'm the type to stand in the oil section of Walmart for an hour, looking at oil filters, oil, and the "cheapie" section. Just ask my wife...I think I'll fit in here well.
I drive a '04 Malibu Maxx LT, '98 Tracker 4dr, '92 Jeep YJ (trail rig), &'59 Willys CJ5 (resto rig). I typically use Walmart Supertech conventional and synthetic oil (made by XOM and WPP, respectively, in this area) and I like the Supertech, Motorcraft, and Purolator filters.

Anyway, good to be here.

...lot to learn on here but just remember, it really doesn't matter what oil you run as long as your changing it when analysis tells you. Most if not all oils do their job well enough to give you long engine life. You can fine tune your oil choice in many instances and find oils that will perform better in your particular vehicle, but don't sweat the small stuff.
