New Fuel Pump brand for Nissan Frontier - no Bosch available - what now?

Do you see Precision failures or complaints?

Also I just realized FirstCall has a link to provide "Feedback" on a given part. Any idea if that's actually read by a human anywhere?

Some returns, yes, however I do not know whether it’s that the fuel pump went bad or something else caused it to fail or it simply wasn’t the issue.

I suspect someone does read that feedback. But whether they do anything after reading it, I have no idea haha.

The TYC branded item is the only one that comes up when I enter the OEM part number (17041-ZP00A). For the price I'd try it. My dealer charges $293 for the Nissan part.

How do you know it's the fuel pump?
Already change the fuel filter?
Is the 12v battery good, could it getting weak?
The fuel pump going bad does seem plausible to likely, specifically it sounds like a bad check valve. Check valve going bad is automatically a fuel pump replacement.
Is the fuel system holding pressure 30 minutes to an hour after you turn it off?
Fuel filter is in the tank. Could be that but it’s part of the pump also. I had the same symptoms on my Xterra for like a year until I changed the pump. It’s the exact same pump so that’s my current best guess.
