Good news for people like me who have uncommon shaped feet. Can you imagine a shoe that's made exactly to your individual foot shape ? The next best thing would be custom made orthotic insoles, but getting the custom made insoles to fit inside shoes that were built for the masses can be daunting.

In what ways do you have goofy shaped feet?

I am unsure on your styling, but Asic makes some great 4E sized shoes.

I have really long, narrow feet, probably a B width at size 13, along with high arches...fortunately, I can usually find Nikes that work for me as far as sports go and high arch replacement insoles also help a lot. Might be nice to try some shoes that actually fit from the get go, though.
Funny how wide shoes are fairly common these days but you never really see narrow shoes...

I wear 12.5 W and have high arches. I bought a pair of New Balance running shoes a long time ago when wide width running shoes were harder to find than they are today.
Luckily, I live close to the Road Runner Sports fulfillment center that has an in-house store. Normal width Altra running shoes fit me fine in size 13. Altra is a good option for people that have high arches and/or need a wider toe box.

I have the same issue as Virtus_Probi.
