When it's this hot and there's wind, it feels like a hair dryer.
Hopefully you guys in Phoenix have a pool to cool down.

I dont miss the high desert summers. 110 degrees with 20mph wind is not enjoyableMy work in victorville is always a few degrees hotter than my house.
Interesting my nephew put a pool in here at the coast, it has a heat pump to heat and cool the water. I never thought about it before, but I would assume every pool in Arizona has one.Hopefully you guys in Phoenix have a pool to cool down.

Our community pools here, the water gets hot in the middle of the summer and it’s not that refreshing.
People from other parts of the country may not understand what you mean by humid. Humidity was 19% here yesterday so we were all suffering and complaining. Today the humidity is even more extreme, 36% right now. I guess 56% later. We are under a extreme heat warning thru the weekend, it was according to my car 114 this afternoon, its freaking HOT HOT HOT .
And its also been humid the last few days as we are still in monsoon season, had really nice lighting show last night to go with the power outage for 15 minutes.
The records I see show it tied the original record for August of 118 degrees on Aug 6th of 1905Thursday, Aug 7 was a new record temperature for the month of August in Phoenix. It was 118 F.
