New and old style fram ultra?

So I noticed they have a fram ultra in black lettering then they have fram ultra synthetic filters where the label on the filter is grey and the word ultra is smaller. Did they update this filter? I thought it used to be called extended guard and they were grey, now they're gold in color. Why is the wording changed so much on these filters?

Which one is the fram ultra with synthetic media? I'm looking at ebay and noticed a guy had one and you can see in the picture one of the boxes looks different than the others next to it. I want to make sure I'm not going to get old stock that doesn't filter at 20 microns.

An Ultra is an Ultra if it's gold it's the same. They made a small change somewhat recently to the label only not the filter.

Even the gray xtended guards are microglass synthetic media, just slightly lower efficiency than the Ultra.

Just bought 12 of the old style from ebay even though it showed the new picture in the photo. Oh well, should be fine.
