So why did you say there was? There isn’t, which allows them to do it. That is the point.

Regulations specify what you can't do. Outside of that, it allows them to execute their business as they see fit.
And then you said this.Regulations specify what you can't do. Outside of that, it allows them to execute their business as they see fit.

Why?OMG man, get a life.
So, it took you two weeks to come up with that? Why?
You don’t like your contradictions being pointed out?
No it took me two weeks to bother to read your replySo, it took you two weeks to come up with that?
I’m sure Pablo can comment also, but isn’t the Amsoil Warranty program designed to protect the consumer if they use the Amsoil spec oil for their recommended applications? The new 0W-30 for 229.51/52, C30, etc?
Who cares about the approvals if Amsoil will warranty any oil related failures.
I know this is a bit of an old figure, but I called Amsoil about 4 years ago and they said all their oils were 2.2% Ash. That "could" of changed since then.Do you actually know what the SA% is?
Yes, it reads just like all other oil warranties, just slightly better. If the product fails in an Amsoil recommended application you are covered.Sorry, the Amsoil Warranty protects Amsoil and not the Consumer, read it carefully.
So what’s your issue with it?
Members can read it, I see it my way, you see it your way. Is there a Warranty from others, like Mobil, Pennzoil, and Valvoline?
Well, I talked with a well-respected member here and he pointed some things out about these Warranties from Oil Companies, so I learned some stuff. I do not agree with some stuff, but there is nothing I can do about it. It is better to talk about Oil and not legal stuff on this Forum. So what’s your issue with it?
In other words, you got nothing. Be bold, back up your claims, teach others.Well, I talked with a well-respected member here and he pointed some things out about these Warranties from Oil Companies, so I learned some stuff. I have something, I was thinking about buying some Amsoil Motor Oil, but when I run out of my stash of Mobil 1, I will be buying some HPL Oil. Amsoil has a Warranty and I do not like there Warranty, I do not see any Warranty from HPL or Mobil. In other words, you got nothing. Be bold, back up your claims, teach others.
