Is it possible this oil is in a niche European market?

Seems the Amsoil in the USA speaks for itself.

I don't bang the drum slowly for Amsoil's SS lineup. I bang it loud, fast and clear.
I tried & tested their Euro gas oils. I'm returning to their Signature Series. It's a fabulous oil.

I agree SS is a fantastic oil.

Only reason I think it may be niche is the 5k 6 month statement. I don’t see where it would fit into the US line up. Of course I don’t know for sure.

Any oil that Amsoil sells should be available to me. If they sell it in Europe, I should be able to get the same oil here!

I think either of the 0W-30s or the 0W-40 will be at least equivalent if not better

My gut tells me most oil companies have oils only available in other parts of the world. Lots of vehicles only available outside the US too.

I went on the Amsoil UK site out of curiosity and you can find SS available. So I don't really know what these oils are or their purpose. The lower SA suggests to me these are kind of like a mid SAP SS. Our AMSOIL Signature Series is full SAPS. I'm not sure they sell much of this line at all. They're not new and you can find SS on most of the European Amsoil sites.

The Total I have is also between A3/B4 and C3 oil just like the 0w30 here. There was a time that A3/B4 only needed 8TBN, so had reduced detergent and the possibly more effective zddp that's claimed for the SP package nowadays. I do feel the arbitrary 10TBN lower limit for A3/B4 and the typically 8 or below for C3 excluded the existence of oils in the sweet spot these are in.
