New Allison Transmission Fluid Spec

Petro Canada was the Allison supplier for Dex III prior to the GM transition to Dex VI. They made a very good fluid. I'm sure this will be also.

TES 668 builds on the previous TES 295 transmission fluid spec...
a standard drain interval linked to Allison-approved TES 389 fluids, and extended drain interval linked to Allison-approved TES 295 fluids. DuraDrive HD Synthetic 668 will have the same extended drain recommendation as TES 295

Very imaginative naming scheme for those fluids. 668 is better than 295 that's better than 389. Sarc off

Apparently they've been writing a lot of specs (TES is transmission engineering specification). I think 389 came out around the time I retired in 2008, it was a way to continue Dex III for Allison when GM went to Dex VI.

Saw some Transynd 668 today. Yes, 668 has been around for a few years.
