I am posting again about this! My wife is feeding the baby. I'm upstairs. My wife says she heard a loud bang sound at our front door. There was no ringing our doorbell or knocking. It was 11pm at night. I go outside and look around. I see nothing. I notice our water fountain is low on water since it was 85 degrees here. I pick up my plastic water pot that I leave outside on our front door steps. As I was filling it with water from the sink, look what I see! I used this water pot almost everyday to water plants around the house and it was not like this yesterday. This is the second vandalism on my property! No, he was not in camera range as this was the front of the house. You believe it? this happened not to long ago. this plastic water pot is hard plastic, you have to hit it pretty hard to do this. it's almost 1am. I'm so mad right now, I can't sleep!

Yes I do. It seemed obvious to me that he was a cowardly, unstable moron.

I'd set-up cameras wherever I needed to, to catch this [censored] on camera. Then when he vandalizes your place next time, call the Police and press charges.

Oh no!

Time to get out the 12ga, a length of rope and call up the neighborhood wanna mall cop SWAT team for a good old fashioned lynching! This guy is obviously building up to a pyromaniacal, suicidal, blood loving murder spree (not necessarily in that order) and needs to dealt with immediately! Thankfully you have the castle doctrine to protect you and the mall SWAT members... /sarcasm

Did you call the police and make a report? You can't prove who did it, but the report would at least start a paper trail. Depending on where you are, they might like to know that somebody's going around destroying property on people's front steps.

Tell the story as as you did above, including your wife feeding the baby and so on.

I guess a camera is in order for the front door now, too.

he's got it nailed! but, the op doesn't need a length of rope. in my other post, I suggested that the op build a gallows in his front yard, for punishment and deterrent.hang 'em high, I say.
a guillotine next to the gallows might be a nice touch.food for thought. maybe not -- if the claymores go off, they might damage the guillotine.
it's sad that you have to put "sarcasm" at the end of your post.i'm not going to, since I'm being serious in both of my posts.again, hang 'em high !

Assuming the OP's conclusion that the neighbor is doing all this stuff, and that he's a loon, is correct (a big assumption mind you), this was an entirely predictable outcome. Escalating against a crazy person will only lead to more crazy behavior! Major mistake to not have the entire perimeter of the home covered by the security cameras. Now he has to put up another one or three, inconspicuously of course. Heck he should probably have one trained on the neighbor's house too.

You really think it's time for sarcasm when the OP is being harassed like this??

It scared the guys wife half to death......and you think it's time to crack a joke?

Apparently you've never had a crazy neighbor that harasses and vandalizes your property before. That must be why you seem to have ZERO sympathy for the OP.

Good idea. Maybe ask the nut-case if he wants him to do anything else so he will stop vandalizing his property?

Aside from his post 12 hours ago?

My wife isn't sure if he threw the water pot at our door or slammed it down on the brick steps to crack it. Yesterday I saw him watering his flowers in his pink shirt, he saw me pull in my garage and he turned back around to keep watering his plants. so he knew I came home! He could have knocked on my door right then when it was daylight.

I talked to the guy who lives on the other side of me, he said he asked around. no one knows anything about him, he's lived here for 3.5 years. he keeps to himself.

I have a plan in motion for 100% coverage. no one won't be able to get close to the house without me knowing. it appears he was looking for something to break that I would know about quick. I thought about alerting police, but cops will laugh about a vandalized $5 watering pot. I need video to nail the guy doing these things.

a photo comparison.

Well done on the lights and video Cutehumor.

It will just be a matter of time and you will probably catch him.

Is the video recording 24/7 or motion activated? (I'm too lazy to read back a few pages).
