Need to rebuild this carb, cannot find a kit

Find out what's wrong with it. Like maybe the internal inlet screen or one of the diaphragms. Chances are pretty good that any dealer will be able to match up the defective part.

This Walbro carburetor is not all that unique. Several manufacturers use it.
Here is the Walbro service manual for the Walbro WYK carburetors... https://www.walbro.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/WYKseries.pdf
The rebuild/repair kit is Walbro OEM part number K13-WYK and can be purchased at quite a few places for about $13 to $14, including Amazon... https://www.amazon.com/Walbro-K13-WYK-Repair-Kit/dp/B00CSBPT46. A new primer bulb is not included in the kit, it is Walbro part number 188-13-1 (amazon also has these). I strongly recommend that you stick with OEM parts for this carb.
When you rebuild one of these Walbro carburetors you should know that not every part in the kit is used in every variation of WYK carb, just use the ones out of the kit that match the ones you remove from the carb. Make sure to spray carb cleaner through all of the small orifices so that they are clear of varnish and/or debris before reassembling the carb (wear eye protection).

That guy at E-replacement parts doesn't seem very sharp. Do you think he actually believes that Husqvarna has a carburetor facility where they make their own carburetors? Crazy!

Just doing some searching from what you posted shows that the wyk-10d carburetor uses a repair kit, p/n kt-k20-wyk for the gaskets. The primer/purge bulb is not part of the kit but you should have no trouble matching it to something sold over the counter at a hardware store in your area. There are only a few different sizes so you should have luck with sourcing that single item.

One thing I'd suggest is that you don't do business with e-replacement parts. They're full price on everything and there are too many other places to order items without being taken to the cleaners by people who don't know about the equipment they support. Just my thoughts...

Yep, it is missing the little start primer button. My trimmer does not have a choke flap and relies on that little button in my photo.
If it is missing, the start valve itself is Walbro 176-65-1, but you will also need the little spring that goes underneath it 98-478-7 and the two O-Rings 16-172-8 and 16-170-8 (both included in the repair kit). The repair kit is K13-WYK (not K20-WYK). The carburetor model number is WYK-10, the "d" on the end doesn't mean anything in terms of parts differences, it is an identifier as to what manufacturer this carb was sold to.
Whatever you think about the company itself, they do have good parts breakdowns.

No offense to you but to a lot of home owners, if they can't find spare parts or can't fix on their string trimmers, leaf blowers etc, they'll leave it at the curbside.

what i did is replace with after market carb and replaced the air cleaner assembly from a junk weedeater that had a choke. worked perfect. machine has never started eaiser.

As a last resort I will do that. Echo GT-200r fits perfect. However when this walbro WYK-10D is working, I simply hold down the black start button and pump one more pump on the primer bulb and it fires right up effortlessly.

UPDATE:

Kit# K13-WYK was a very nice complete kit, and seemed to fix all issues with this carburetor. It was a spot on rebuild kit and contained everything minus the metering lever spring. Why all other kits do, and this one did not is beyond me.

The Cold start button works wonders. You press the purge bulb about 8 times like any other trimmer, and then press the black cold start button one time, and it simply relievs a little fuel into the carb body. it will then start in 2-4 pulls and run perfect.
