I need a grease that can handle heat and resists cast off when spun at high speeds.. Any recommendations?

It is for my BMW motorcycle. The grease is going on the imput shaft on the transmission. It will see 7000rpm and the temps of an air cooled engine. This part requires periodic greasing to ensure smooth operation.

Thanks

You can to try below the non-melting specialty grease:
* HUSKEY LVI-50 Pure-Synthetic PTFE Grease EP 2;
* HUSKEY HTL-500 Pure-Synthetic Extreme Temperature PTFE Grease (consult about tacky).

(888)4-HUSKEY.

Good luck,

It is not big problem, Smoky14,

You can to try the Huskey HTS-2 High Temperature Synthetic Moly Grease EP 2. The film of this grease can work up to +454,4 °С.
By the way, what’s Spec of this BMW Grease indicated in manual? Pls give me more info.

Guys, I am motorbike racer from 1979. What’s clubs are alive in CA now?
Please note that I cannot permanently to watch for that forum, because my market is Europe and I am located in Russia.
Re. the greases, please call to head office. They have around 500 formulations of greases. I know around 150 catalogue products only.

This is what it says in the owners manual.

"Brand-name anti-friction grease, usable temperature range -30*... +140*C, drip point 150*C...230*C, high corrosion protection, good water/oxidation resistance; e.g. Shell Retinax A"

Yeah, but I was think there is something better out there. Afterall, the only reason I need to do this is because of those geniuses at BMW.

Get some Schaeffers 274 #2 moly syntheic blend,,,,will work fine at high speeds and stay in place,,the 221.ep 800 will also be good,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,BL
