I have a fresh jug of Zip Wax that I bought in 2000 when I bought my ZX-3 Focus. Still in use today if I get the motivation to do a hand wash. My previous jug was probably 15 years old before I bought my current jug. Just easy peasy.

try not to wash with shampoo containg wax,cleaning properties with those that do not contain wax are far less.
i remember that in early 2012 the most famous car shampoo was one that had a funny name DODO JUICE :

Gold Class
Bought my Father some Jay Leno wash. Seemed 1st class. Have not seen it around in a while so have not tried on my own.
Currently using C.G. Pink stuff on the garage queen Boss302 and Gold class on the Tacoma (foam cannon plus bucket)

FYI...Sam's Club just started stocking a large gallon bottle of Meguiar's Gold Class for a great price.

This. I think it outperforms Gold Class.
It should, it's more than double the price.
I'll 2nd that. either Gold Class or Wash & Wax.
Meguire's D110, has been my favorite for years. Super concentrated, works great in a foam lance too. I've used other Maguire's soap (including gold class), rain-x, chemical guys, Duragloss etc and still prefer D110.
