Need to buy Car Wash Soap.

I can't remember the name, but I use some type of enviro car wash. I feel guilty using anything else as I watch all the soap suds roll into the storm sewers.

I also use their Polish Bonding Agent (#601) with the TPP #105, b/c it's supposed to help the TPP and last longer. The results are excellent, the look is great and the durability lasts. To give you an idea, I used the #601 & #105 combo back in October, and water still beads up solid on my car right now.

Had you actually called them (as I did) you would have learned that it is a sealant, as is Aquawax. Neither one contains ANY wax which the two brothers that own the company will confirm. Blowing smoke up folks shorts does not make you a hero here......nice try but you FAIL!

I was under the impression it was a sealant as well. Certainly is not a "true" polish in the sense of the word.

Gold class is the only car wash soap I will use. I have tried over 10 brands with all my cars.

MAJOR +1
It will not replace nor should it replace a real waxing.

Thanks for the correction RT, I did contact them (though by email) and yes I was mistaken when I used the term "wax". I hope that did not take away from the message I was trying to convey, and I hope it would be obvious that I was not trying to deceive anyone when at three points in my post I suggested either contacting them or researching their products more.

Again, thank you for correcting me so eloquently, you've truly shown yourself to be both a gentleman and a scholar

I use Turtle Wax Zip wax car wash as well but after doing a lot of reading at http://www.autopia.org it turns out there are a lot better car wash soaps on the market.

As far as wax goes I have to say I will never use Eagle one products ever again, have you ever gotten that stuff on your black trim?
I was recently using Meg's Cleaner Wax/Polish with excellent results (but it also gets in your black trim just not as bad as Eagle one)just leave it for 5 minutes and it wipes right off with a great shine and protection(purchased mine at a GM dealer)

Just this past wknd I tried a highly recommended wax called Collinite 845 Insulator wax and it is by FAR the best wax I have ever used! You hardly need any on your applicator (depending on paint smoothness?)let it completely dry and wipe it off, hardly any dust/powder and no worries about black trim! The thing that I have read is this wax will last upwards of six months?
Check out autopia.org and do a search and you will see for yourself, great stuff! I purchased mine at http://www.eshine.ca which is Canadian but it readily available in the states as well....IRV

Collinite 476S wax is even longer lasting, but not quite as easy to apply and wipe off.

Meguiar's Gold Class.

Bought a big jug last year along with some Gold Class wax at AutoZone when they ran a special on those two products.

The wash is great, nice and slick, and gets the grime off nicely. The wax looks nice but doesn't last that long. It's a good top coat, though.

I use Megs NXT car wash to go along with the NXT 2.0 Tech Wax and Megs Ultimate Quik Detailer. The Quik Detailer is great! It gives your car that wet look.

The only place I can locally find the Megs NXT car wash is Pep Boys.

I'm thinking about purchasing some. Been reading good reviews on it also.

I'd get Einzett Perls if possible. Gold class shampoo is good as an OTC shampoo, IMO.

Collinite makes a nice long-lasting wax. 476 seems to be the best, IMO.

I know this may sound silly, but I've used many different brands of car wash and I always end up going back to Turtle Wax Zip Wax. It's inexpensive and seems to work just as good as any, and better than most others.

Have you tried the DG car wash? I only ask since you've had good luck with other DG products. I didn't think shampoo was all that important until I got a sample of the DG and was impressed by the results.

No I haven't, but I should since I like their polish.

DEEP CRYSTAL® CAR WASH is a Meguiar's product and most stores carry this. Their Gold Class car wash is good also.

yeah the NXT is some awesome stuff. I use the paste personally, seems to me a person goes through the liquid faster than paste but ymmv. the nxt stuff works awesome is very easy to hand buff and lasts a very very long time.. after a year on my focus it would still bead up and looked great. I have the gold class, the blue coral and I have a bottle of the armorall car wash but its not the all in one product.. they all seem to work great but i prefer the gold class shampoo. wedleys (sp?) bleche-white tire cleaner is amazing stuff as well

NXT is good in hard water but it is harsh. It has a PH of around 9. The best cheap car wash is Kit-very slick.
