Need opinions

I've talked to a few friends about my current oil filter/air filter setup and the suggest that I return to using the filters that I used in the past.Right now I'm using a Lifetime oil filter and a AFE ProGuard-7 air filter.My old setup was a Baldwin oil filter and a Wix/Baldwin air filter.Which one would be best?Thanks Joe

I don't care for stainless steel filters. They cost too much. If you had a TP filter (or some other bypass system) in addition to it - it would probably be the best, but at another whopping $150+ in capital acquisition.

Those permanent filters can never be cleaned enough between changes.
A toilet paper filter system is great if you want to spend money you don't need too.

Thanks to all the responded.I guess the two filter(air/oil)will go on another vehicle.I'll go back to my old(trusted)routine.Joe

You can stick with the AFE filter
