Cellulose blend or synthetic media

Which filter media is best used for extended drains?Baldwin uses cellulose blend and I believe Fleetguard uses synthetic(Stratapore).My bypass setup is a Baldwin filter head #OB1305 and a Baldwin bypass filter#B164.I plan on changing both filters using 10,000 mile intervals with Shell Rotella-T 15W40 oil.I also plan on getting oil analysis every 5,000 to see if I can go further.Thanks Joe

Run a used oil analysis at 10,000 miles to see if you can go further. 5,000 miles is a waste of money . Is tha baldwin bypass the size of a ph8a filter ?

Both filters are held in high reguard and I would guess that the end result is about the same.
