Hello folks,
I have been surfing the web in search of a product that was recomended to my by a friend of a friend. And this guy(who ONLY deals in high end autos), highly recomends this product for hard P/S issues.
The product is called, (and I am not sure of the spelling)..."Slip Kote" by Hapco Products. This product is also supposed to be a non consumer product such as the BAR's Leaks P/S Cure that I can buy at any local parts store.
The only Hapco Prod's that I have found thus far is in Warren, MI and there really is no wedsite.
Slip Kote, is a power steering lubricant/sealer additive for sticky/hard P/S and rack & pinion issues.
Yes, I know that additives are a "Last Resort" before replacing any unit/part and this is what I am thinking...Last Resort!
I have seen only one review of this product under...Hapco Transmission & Power Steering Additive but, not Slip Kote of Slip Coat by Hapco. Anything esle that I have found is vague at best! Kind'a says something right there but, as stated, it's not a regular consumer product and seems to be for the professional...I guess!
Any responces will be helpfull!
Thanks,
CB
