Need help diagnosing sound

Try this, when its making the sound put slight pressure on the clutch pedal. Just to the point of the clutch beginning to disengage and see if you hear a difference.

From what I've heard I'd suspect clutch assembly, gear rattle or endplay issue in transmission, engine mount, or some issue with a heat shield/catalytic converter.

BTW does it happen just after a cold start? Does temperature change things?

It even occurs when I just start my car and drive immediatly.

I did this test earlier today. I turn on the car and immediately put the car in first gear and started to drive till the RPMs hit 5,000. Then I released my foot from the gas pedal (but still had the car in 1st gear) and while the car was decelerating through the 3,800 - 3,500 RPM range it made the rattling sound.
The whole test probably took less then 15-20 seconds from the time I turned my car on.

I found this at a Honda Parts Store online.

Next weekend I will raise up my car and check everything on this picture. Maybe its #1, 25, or 26 because those are heat protectors/shields.

I dont think the sound will kill me but it just annoys me to no end.

I would start with #s 6 and 7, since you say the noise seems to be coming from the front of the vehicle.

Your right. I missed number's 6 & 7. Those are the upper and lower heatshields for the catalytic converter. I will check those also.

I tried this and only after I fully disengage the clutch does the sound go away. While disengaging the sound remains the same.

Grab hold of the tailpipe ang give it a good shake if it is the heatshield on the cat you can use stainless pop rivets to repair the broken spot welds or if you know someone with a mig welder they can weld it for you. GOOD LUCK
