Need CVT fluid comparison explained

I welcome all comments. I did add the EX120 XADO as even changing CVT fluid there is still unavoidable wear and wanted to prolong. The XADO has prolonged it for certain and its way smoother since I added it.Kinda ceramiced it if you will. Did a count of 2 self services,25-30 CVT services and twice where it was done double as they couldnt remember if it was done right. Fluid cheaper than transmission
Since owning the 2015 Honda Civic how many times have you used XADO EX120 in the CVT transmission?

In my wife’s 2015 Altima I did a 3x drain and fill with Castrol trans max cvt around the 49K mile mark. Has a little over 60K On it now and no problems and cvt runs fine. Planning on doing a single drain/fill every 25-30K from here on out.

My 2017 accord sport did the same thing around the 30K mile mark with Amsoil cvt fluid.

...I attempted to interpret his reasoning. The following may be relevant to this discussion. I was recently comparing two Synchromesh fluids (not dissimilar from CVT fluid). Pennzoil Synchromesh (VI=208) and Valvoline Synchromesh (VI=157). They have similar KV100, although Pennzoil has slightly lower KV40. Valvoline Synchromesh is a synthetic blend but has lower VI than Pennzoil Synchromesh, which is mineral based. I thereby determined that Pennzoil's high VI was due to a heavy dose of VII, and therefore surmised that Valvoline was superior in this regard.
CVT fluids and MTF fluids are very different and therefore there is absolutely no comparisons to be made.

Making assumptions about the Viscosity Index of a formulated oil verses VII content and base oil type is an exercise in futility.

"Extreme Action 120% (EX 120) Revitalizant rebuilds, repairs, and protects automobile transmission metal. It starts by filling in any scratches or worn surfaces in the transmission (gears, bearings, distribution blocks, clutches, etc), restoring geometry and reversing wear. EX120 then coats the treated surfaces with a self-regulating layer of ceramic-metal to protect the transmission from future wear. EX120 works in all types of automatic transmissions including Tiptronic, Steptronic, CVT, etc. The best part about EX120 is one treatment lasts for 62,000 miles!"

I would stay as far away as possible from any product or company that makes these unscientific claims.
