Need Ant Repellent

I've got a 301" X 141" concrete patio deck. I'd like to be able to sit a bowel of kitty-kat food on there without having 5 million ants attack it. Is there a water proof repellent that I can spray along the outside perimeter that will soak into the concrete and keep the ants out?

ether and a lighter, but it's pretty labour intensive, and I don't think that the cat would appreciate it.

It has to be water proof; as far as I know, fire is not water proof.

Use Greek fire.

make a little mini-moat around the concrete, of water, to prevetn ants from coming onto the consrete

Try diesel fuel. I put it in a garden sprayer and spray around the barn and the patio, the smell goes aay the next day, but the ants and all bugs stay away for months. It seems to work well.

Seven isn't waterproof but if you carefully apply it a number of times it should get rid of the problem. Ants track it back to the nest.
