Had a rock his the windshield of my 2003 Civic last week...hit a bump yesterday and now I have about a 7" crack. I've never had a windshield replaced in my 25 year driving career. Safelite is the first company that came to mind. Curious is anyone has used them or perhaps another installer in Central PA? Thanks in advance.

I've used Safelite many times. Minnesota, Connecticut, Missouri. I've always been pleased with their service.

Another vote of confidence in Safelite for me. I was an insurance agent for a few years and they always treated my clients well and did good work.

I would get the OE glass. I think bdcardinal would agree with me as well.
It may cost an extra $200 but if you plan to keep the car, it may be worth it. Even the PGW windshield I have on the Altima seems to have a few more waves than the original Nissan windshield.

My mom is an insurance agent, and she says that Safelite is very popular, that's all she's really allowed to say lol
Another vote for Safelite. Good work, no mess, prompt, reasonable price, nice employees.

I have a PPG glass in my Honda that Safelite put in. There are only a few replacement glass makers - they use them all depending on the car.

When someone shot the windshield and rear glass out of my Caddy Safelite came to the house and did the work. Perfect job, no complaints.
Guys, thank you for the input, much appreciated. I'll schedule in the next couple weeks and report back with my experience.
I've had mixed results with Safelite. Last replacement on my Accord they messed up by using generic moulding around the windshield which didnt fit right. After I complained they came back and redid the windshield and moulding, but it still did not lay flat like the original moulding. The chinese glass they used was ok, but had more distortion than the original. I know they guarantee satisfaction, but two tries was enough for me.
I will probably use a different installer next time.
