I did a couple searches on this topic but didn't come up with anything.

I've been buying NapaGold oil filters (1334) discounted through my work in a bulk of 12/per case for the past couple years (we have several vehicles that use them) and I noticed the recent batch has "Made in Mexico" stamped on the side of the filters.

I thought NapaGold/Wix were made in the US? I faintly remember past filters having "Made in the US" stamped on them.

Any reports of a decline in quality for these Mexico made filters?

Thank you in advance.

The WIX for my Jeep Patriot originally had "Made in Indonesia" and "Made in Mexico" both stamped on the can....
Now it's got a different bypass setting, different can, and just "Made in Mexico".....

All of my Wix 51334 (napa golds) are made in mexico now, from the naked eye, they look exactly the same as when they were made in America, but thats just from the naked eye.

Thank you for the links to other threads about the same topic. I am disappointed that these are being made in Mexico... I know some good products do come out of Mexico but I'd prefer to stay with US made filters. Guess I'll be using PureOnes after I use up these NapaGolds. At least I got them for less than the price of a SuperTech.
