Off of a friends 2017 F-150 3.5 v-6 4WD truck. Lil’ over 105k. Had this filter and a blend of some HPL NO VII 5w20 and some QSUD 5w20 in and on for almost 8k

Put a tough guard back on with a load of HPL NO VII 5w20. Lots of crud in can.

That filter held up great & see the debris you speak of. Do you think they will extend the oil change once the can comes out cleaner?
 
Man, that thing is nasty on the inside. Only 8,000 miles and it’s got all of that crud in it? I think going to a 5W30 and doing an oil and filter change every 5,000 miles is the way to go.

I’m guessing the HPL did cleaning so I’m not too worried.
