Would the NAPA Gold/Wix be acceptable as a replacement for the OEM Subaru filter for 2014 Forester 2.5? The NAPA parts guy quoted me a 27 psi bypass which may be a few more than the OEM( 23 I think).Anyone here use this filter on a Subaru?

I'm using the Wix 57055/Napa 7055 filter on the wife's 2.5 L FB engine. I was a very loyal Purolator filter guy, but they didn't have a filter for the 2.5 FB engine until recently. I've used two of the Wix filters and they have been perfect. No problems.

No problem.

With all the Purolator torn media threads, you can scratch my previous statement about being a Purolator guy. (At least for the time being.) AAP shows to have the Purolator Classic L14615 for our engine, but I think I'm going to stick with the Wix/Napa filters for the foreseeable future. As a matter of fact I picked up a Napa Gold this past Saturday for the upcoming oil change.
