I read (here, for instance: https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/1888227/Pete_C.#Post1888227) that the Napa Gold filter is the exact same as the Wix filter. When people say this, do they mean the regular Wix line of filters, or the Wix XP filter?

And, the flow is EXCELLENT. All filters are a trade off. You can have extreamly high efficiency at the COST of reduced flow and lower holding capacity, OR you can have EXCELLENT flow and lower efficiency with GREAT holding capacity. You choose.
The NP is a great filter designed for extended intervals. The "50%" is the initial efficiency. As the filter loads, the efficiency will rise.
