This thing caught some serious crap. Looks like small black snot. Maybe sludge? I don’t know. I’ve got the media wrapped in paper towels right now. We shall see.

Here’s one that I just took off. Approximately 5300 oci and caught a fair bit of stuff. But in odd places. Media drying currently. Filter magnets look like they caught a fair bit too.

PG4612EX (premium guard) order is placed with supposed delivery date of tomorrow. If it arrives tomorrow, it's going on and this Napa gold is getting trashed. This is embarrassing workmanship and "quality" imo. MANN+HUMMEL should be ashamed of themselves producing this cut rate sham of a filter. I will not buy anything Mann+Hummel going forward if I can help it.

It should be safe now to go back to Napa if you need a filter quick because the Gold's should be Premium Guard now ... Keep in mind that 4612 PG you got will be a bit shorter.
