Napa air filters

What are the differences between a Napa gold and a Napa silver airfilters. This for a 2004 vibe 1zzfe. How about the proselect?

Less pleats, less filtering material, less performace overall. You get what you pay for. The Gold is pretty much an OE filter, although Id still prefer Mann or Mahle or Hengst over it. I think Id rather run to the dealer and get an OE

I sure don't think so.

I believe the OEM is the best compromise between price and function for the manufacturer to put in their car.

I'm not sure why you would buy a NAPA air filter when you can go to plenty of auto parts stores and look at the Purolator ones and pick the one you like the best.
