Based on the edge codes, it appears that Shandong Gold Phoenix Co., Ltd. is supplying the material for certain part numbers. Does anyone know who these guys are?

Edit: It looks like Brembo owns part of the operation:

I never liked these pads personally. I haven’t used them in years, but when they first came out they’d always try to talk me into them. The counter guys would tell me there’s a special one for the inner pad, a special one for the outer, and they’re guaranteed silent etc etc. They always did look high quality but I had a squealing problem with a set and they wouldn’t do anything about it for me. The only thing that would stop the squeal was soaking the pad friction material in special anti squeal liquid and it was never a permanent fix.

Their ultra premium pads was what I always used…started when I was in an independent shop and that’s what they swore by…but again, that was years ago too. Vendors may have changed?

Napa and Raybestos were tied at the hips. Not sure if that’s the case now. O’Reilly had Bosch make their BrakeBest Select Ceramic line, now it’s MAT Roulunds India - same as AutoZone and Advance for their “premium” line of pads.
