Napa 5qt syn blend 5w-20/30 and conv 10w-30/40 for $16.99

Not a huge sale but some like Valvoline a lot and I'd buy both the syn blend 5w-30 and conventional 10w-40 for 16.99. Many blue bottle quarts up to 20w-50 and both detergent and non detergent sae 30 are 3.49.

They have High Mileage 20w-50.
I don't think I've ever seen a HM in that grade before. BUT it's only $1 more a quart for the Full Synthetic 15w-50.

And there's the 20% off online only memorial day sale so it's a bit better.

Also just noticed there's a posting rule that says price shouldn't be in the title but I didn't see it until this morning.

Good find. Is this basically Valvoline "Daily Protection"?
I imagine it is but I still remember that 600k? pentastar where it was ran on cheap oil mostly 5w-20 valvoline and it was ran for about 8k but sometimes 10-11k and it had almost no wear on the rotating assembly but the plastic tensioners broke and the chains had a good bit of stretch but i don't know how much longer the chains would have lasted with thicker oil and i don't know how good those chrysler chains are.

This is good to hear. Helped my stepson buy a 2018 ram with the pentastar in 2023. Oil changes are only called for when the light shows up or 10k miles/1yr max on only synthetic blend. I'd prefer him get them sooner but he has a limited lifetime powertrain warranty that already has gotten use (water pump). They won't let it cover the very common leaky oil cooler / filter housing.

I thought pricing would end June 1 but NAPA apparently ignores the names of months in their sales.

ANYWAY, it's still going on. I received three jugs and ordered three more yesterday. Mostly 10W40. I wish they had jugs of 20W50.

The heavier stuff is increasingly hard to find -- although to be fair WM still carries it in ST. I'm not a big fan of NeedAPartA**hole so I figure giving them my money vs giving the big, evil WM my money is a wash.
