Rethickulous!!! It's been a while since I've seen a 12pk of synthetic motor oil under $80. Imma shower in 15W50 now. At this price it's cheaper than most shampoos or body washes lol. Me likey thicc.

I used to use their 15W-50 in my Harley 1200R Sportster. Hot Georgia summers. Lots of guys I rode with used it. Worked just fine and cheap as chips back then (2007-2011 time frame.)

When my son got his Santa Fe w/ the infamous 2.4 Theta II, I used a jug of the 5W-30 for his first oil change. Great oil for the price. Now, is it better than Supertech or Kirkland at $15-$18? Probably not.....

I tried it in my Tundra . The engine was noisier , but when I mentioned it here I got blasted . I ran it about a thousand miles and changed it out .

The only reason I am asking is that on “sale” NAPA cost about the same as supertech, and without much knowledge I cant say which one is better.

I use both but do prefer the NAPA product especially when on sale. Not that the super tech is inferior however the NAPA is rebranded valvoline.

Same for me. ST has served me well over the years, but I prefer Valvoline and to be honest, like supporting my locally owned Napa store.

I like that it's a Valvoline product but wouldn't say it's better or worse than anything else.

I had a UOA done on the 0w-20 from my Mazda and it looked great after 5K miles with plenty of life left. Would Supertech/Kirkland have come back as good? Maybe, but the NAPA/Valvoline is a known performer so I keep buying it when it goes on sale.

Like the thread title says, this is a UOA for a 5000 mile interval using the NAPA 0w-20 synthetic, which is produced by Valvoline. The car is a 2016 Mazda6 with the 2.5L Skyactiv engine with 41000 miles. This is the first sampling from this car and it looks like I could have comfortably taken it a few more miles.
